This policy describes how Wahine Health ("we," "us") handles information collected through this website. It applies to wahinehealth.com only — it is separate from, and does not replace, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs protected health information for our patients and is available at our office and upon request.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you join our email list, we collect your first name and email address. If you contact us by phone, text, or through our patient portal or booking platforms, those communications are handled by the respective services described below.
Information collected automatically. Our website host may collect standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate and secure the site. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — which pages are viewed, and general (non-identifying) usage patterns — under Google's privacy policy. We do not use advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
How we use it
We use email list information to send patient-education content and practice updates. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
This website is hosted by Netlify, which processes form submissions and standard server logs on our behalf. Appointment booking is provided through Patient Fusion, our patient portal through FollowMyHealth, our supplement store through Fullscript, embedded maps through Google Maps, and email delivery through Constant Contact. Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy, which applies when you use it.
Health information
Please don't submit health details through the email signup form — it isn't designed for clinical communication. For anything involving your care, use the patient portal, call us at (808) 879-1859, or use our non-emergency text line at (833) 497-3892.
Your choices
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request that we remove your information from our email list at any time by contacting us at info@wahinehealth.com.
Children
This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site.
