Menopause medicine may be our center of gravity, but it sits on a foundation: complete, procedurally capable gynecology. From routine annuals to in-office hysteroscopy, this is the care most women need most often — delivered by a fellowship-caliber team with the unhurried visits we're known for.
Well-woman care
Annual exams, Pap smears and HPV screening, breast exams, and the preventive conversations that routine visits deserve — including the ones about sleep, cycles, and hormones that often get skipped elsewhere. Our patients regularly tell us the exam was gentler than they expected; we consider that a clinical skill, not a nicety.
Contraception & IUDs
Contraception is not one-size-fits-all, and counseling is where we start: pills, patches, rings, implants, injections, and intrauterine devices, weighed against your health history, cycle patterns, and plans. We place, manage, and remove IUDs in-office — both hormonal and copper — and we're honest about what to expect at every step.
Abnormal uterine bleeding
Heavy periods, bleeding between periods, cycles that have changed character — and any bleeding after menopause — deserve real evaluation, not reassurance by guesswork. Workup is tailored to you and may include targeted labs, imaging, and endometrial biopsy, with treatment options that range from medication to procedural solutions. Bleeding is one of the most common reasons women come to us, and one of the most fixable.
Colposcopy
An abnormal Pap result is anxiety-producing; the follow-up shouldn't be. Colposcopy — a magnified examination of the cervix, with biopsies where indicated — is performed in-office following ASCCP-aligned protocols, with clear explanation of what your results mean and what happens next.
Office hysteroscopy
A slender camera lets us examine the inside of the uterus right in the office — often the definitive step in evaluating abnormal bleeding, polyps, and other intrauterine findings, without a trip to the operating room. Fewer unknowns, faster answers.
Minor procedures & surgery
Vulvar and endometrial biopsies, lesion management, and other minor gynecologic procedures are handled in-office. When something needs more, you're in experienced hands: Dr. G is a seasoned gynecologic surgeon, and we'll walk you through options, settings, and what recovery actually looks like.
Pessary care
For pelvic organ prolapse and related symptoms, a well-fitted pessary is an effective, nonsurgical option that too few women are offered. We provide fitting, follow-up, and ongoing maintenance care — and honest guidance about when a pessary is the right tool and when it isn't.
