Wahine Health — Gynecology Care for Maui

FAQ

Questions we hear often.

How do I book an appointment?

Online anytime — with Dr. G or with Ann — or call (808) 879-1859 during office hours.

What are your hours?

Monday and Tuesday 8:30–4, Wednesday 9–5, Thursday 11–3, Friday 9–1. Closed weekends.

Do you take my insurance?

We're in-network with HMAA/HWMG and UHA, and out-of-network with all other payors, including HMSA. For out-of-network plans, payment is due at time of service — and as a courtesy, we electronically submit the superbill to your insurer for you, so any out-of-network reimbursement comes straight back to you. Full details on our billing page.

I have Medicare — can I be seen?

Yes, with one specific arrangement: our physicians have opted out of Medicare, so Medicare patients sign a private contract and pay directly; Medicare is not billed and won't reimburse for our visits. Your Medicare enrollment itself is unaffected, and it generally still covers the labs and prescriptions we order at Medicare-enrolled facilities. Call us and we'll walk you through it.

How much does a visit cost?

For out-of-network and self-pay patients: new patient visits (30 minutes) are $250 with Ann Craddock, APRN and $300 with Dr. G; follow-up visits start at $125. Procedure and service pricing is gladly provided on request. HMAA/HWMG and UHA patients pay their normal copays and deductibles instead. Full details on our billing page.

Do you offer payment plans?

We accept HSA and FSA cards, and financing is available through CareCredit, subject to credit approval.

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes — pay securely anytime through our online payment portal (card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay; no login needed).

How do I get my results or message the office?

Through the FollowMyHealth patient portal. For quick non-urgent questions, you can also text (833) 497-3892 — texts aren't monitored continuously, so call for anything urgent, and call 911 for emergencies.

How do prescription refills work?

The fastest route is asking your pharmacy to send a refill request electronically, or messaging us through the portal. Please allow a couple of business days — and don't wait until the last dose.

Do you prescribe bioidentical hormones?

Yes. Modern hormone therapy is built around bioidentical estradiol and progesterone; we individualize the molecule, dose, and delivery route — patches, gels, oral, vaginal, and compounded preparations when appropriate. More on our menopause & hormone therapy page.

Do you place IUDs and do procedures in-office?

Yes — IUD placement, management, and removal, colposcopy, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, office hysteroscopy, pessary fitting and care, and other minor procedures are all done right in our office. See our gynecology services page.

How do I know if I'm in perimenopause?

You can still have regular periods and be well into it. Start with our free 3-minute symptom check-in — it's educational, not diagnostic, and the results make a great starting point for a visit.

Do you offer aesthetic and intimate wellness treatments?

Yes — EmFemme 360, FemiLift, truFlex core strengthening, laser hair and vein removal, and peptide options for select patients, all by consultation. See our intimate wellness page.

Where do I buy the supplements you recommend?

Our practitioner-grade dispensary is on Fullscript — professional brands, shipped to your door.

What's your cancellation policy?

No-shows and same-day cancellations carry a $50 fee. Let us know by the day before and we'll rebook you at no charge.
