what happened to my

sex drive?

What we casually call “libido” is actually three systems — desire (brain), comfort (tissue), and arousal & response (blood flow and muscle). They struggle separately, and they respond to treatment separately. Answer honestly about the past 3 months, and we’ll show you where your symptoms cluster.

This is an educational check-in, not a diagnostic test. It’s organized around the six domains clinicians assess in female sexual function — desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction, and pain — but it can’t tell you the cause of anything. Think of your results as a map to bring to a visit.

Desire · the brain

01I think about sex or feel interested in it without anything prompting me.

02When intimacy starts, my interest shows up once things are underway — even if I didn’t feel like it beforehand.

03I find myself avoiding situations that might lead to sex — going to bed early, staying up late, keeping busy.

04Medications I take (like antidepressants) started around the same time my interest changed.

Comfort · the tissue

05Sex or penetration is uncomfortable or painful.

06I notice vaginal dryness, burning, or irritation — during sex or just day to day.

07I’ve needed more lubrication than I used to, or lubricant doesn’t fully solve it.

Arousal & response · blood flow & muscle

08My body takes noticeably longer to respond than it used to, even when I’m interested.

09Orgasms are harder to reach than they used to be.

10When I do climax, it feels weaker or less intense than before.

11I leak urine with laughing, coughing, or exercise — or feel a heaviness or looseness in my pelvic floor.

One thing that isn’t a score: new bleeding after menopause, bleeding after sex, or pelvic pain outside of intercourse are exam-first symptoms. If any of those apply, please book a visit regardless of your results.

This tool is patient education from Wahine Health and does not diagnose any condition or replace an individualized visit. It is not a diagnostic test, and symptom patterns can’t tell you the cause. Treatment candidacy — including hormone therapy, vaginal DHEA, laser treatment, and compounded or peptide therapies — is determined in a visit.
