Dr. Carrie Giordano, affectionately known as “Doc G” by her patients, is the founder and medical director of Wahine Health, a boutique women’s wellness clinic rooted in heart-centered, evidence-based care. With nearly two decades of experience as a board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Giordano is recognized for her deeply personalized approach to women's health, from menstruation through menopause and beyond.
She holds dual board certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Obesity Medicine, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) . Dr. Giordano is also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) —one of the few providers in the nation to hold this distinction—demonstrating her advanced training and commitment to expert, compassionate care during the menopausal transition.
Dr. Giordano earned both her B.S. and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degrees from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and completed her OB/GYN residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. After twelve years in private practice in Illinois, she relocated to Maui in 2017 and later established Wahine Health in 2022 to offer the kind of integrative, thoughtful care she believes all women deserve.
Her approach blends traditional medicine with lifestyle guidance, hormone optimization, weight and metabolic care, and longevity planning—always tailored to each woman’s unique story, symptoms, and goals. She is passionate about helping women feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of their health journey.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Giordano has volunteered on medical missions to South America, providing critical gynecologic care to underserved women in Bolivia. She lives on Maui with her husband and their two rescue pets and enjoys hiking, snorkeling, gardening, and travel.
Ann Craddock brings more than three decades of dedication to women’s health and patient advocacy. Her journey in medicine began in the early 1990s as a volunteer with Planned Parenthood in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she discovered her lifelong passion for empowering women through compassionate, evidence-based care.
After completing her RN training and working in women’s health in California, Ann relocated to Maui in 2001 and has since become a trusted member of the island’s healthcare community. She earned her Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certification (WHNP-C) and began practicing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in 2004, developing extensive expertise in reproductive and gynecologic medicine. Her training includes ASCCP-aligned colposcopy certification, IUD management, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, pessary care, and comprehensive well-woman services.
In 2014, Ann earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine with a specialization in Family Practice, becoming dual certified as both a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-C) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). For over a decade, she provided primary care in Upcountry Maui, building lasting relationships and gaining deep insight into the unique and diverse healthcare needs of the Maui community.
At Wahine Health, Ann is honored to return to her primary passion — women’s health. In addition to providing comprehensive gynecologic care and contraceptive services, she is expanding her focus on menopausal medicine. Her approach is thoughtful, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based practice, supporting women with clarity and confidence through every stage of life.
Outside of the clinic, Ann enjoys bird watching, longboard surfing with her husband, and walking her beloved poi dogs as they enjoy their golden years — embracing the balance and vitality she encourages in her patients.
I was terrified to get a Pap smear it had been 7 years due to previous negative experience . After walking in to the facility it almost feels like a spa , not a medical facility . Emma is the best NP, she is kind , attentive and gentle. I didn’t even know she completed the Pap smear that is how gentle she was . I highly recommend this place especially if you are anxious like me .
Dr. Giordano is knowledgeable, experienced and super helpful. She was able to elucidate the best birth control options for my lifestyle. Wahine Health is a lovely facility with a friendly and welcoming staff.
