Dr. Carrie Giordano, known as "Doc G," is a board-certified gynecologist and obesity medicine specialist, as well as the owner of Wahine Health in Wailea, HI. With a career spanning since 2005, she is also a National Certified Menopause Practitioner, dedicated to comprehensive women’s health. She earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency at Loyola University. Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Giordano has also provided medical mission work in South America. A Chicago native, she now calls Maui home, enjoying gardening, hiking, snorkeling, and traveling.
Ellen Kamenar is a nurse practitioner who began her career in 2023. She graduated from Maryville University with her MSN-Family nurse practitioner degree. She is board certified through the American Associates of Nurse Practitioners.
She received her BSN degree from Ohio University and has been a registered nurse since 2014 taking care of a diverse population of patients, ranging from pediatrics to older adults. Much of her nursing career was as a traveling nurse which she had the privilege of working in various hospitals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Hawaii.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but Maui has been home since 2018. In her free time she enjoys diving, going to the beach, cooking, camping and spending time with her sweet and playful puppy named Petey!
She is dedicated to providing the best possible care to her patients. She takes the time to listen to her patients' needs in order to come up with the best medical decisions for each individual person.
Noelani is a Registered Nurse who was born and raised right here on Maui. She graduated from the University of Hawaii Maui College with her Registered Nurse degree in 2014. Noelani then went on to get her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Manoa, Maui Outreach College. Throughout her nursing career, Noelani has worked in Gynecology, Family Practice and Pediatrics. Noelani is passionate about providing quality, up to date care to her patients. In her free time, Noelani enjoys spending time with her three children, going to the beach and reading.
I was terrified to get a Pap smear it had been 7 years due to previous negative experience . After walking in to the facility it almost feels like a spa , not a medical facility . Emma is the best NP, she is kind , attentive and gentle. I didn’t even know she completed the Pap smear that is how gentle she was . I highly recommend this place especially if you are anxious like me .
Dr. Giordano is knowledgeable, experienced and super helpful. She was able to elucidate the best birth control options for my lifestyle. Wahine Health is a lovely facility with a friendly and welcoming staff.
Dr. Giordano was very caring, thorough, gentle and knowledgeable. Kamaile at the front office was very helpful, friendly and efficient. The new office was easy to find and parking convenient and free. Mahalo!
